There are so many good things about moving from your 30’s to your 40’s. We must keep these in mind as we grow into these incredible years! Be of good cheer my friend!

  2. You don’t care as much what people think and therefore are tuning in more to what you think. 
  3. You can be a little crazy and no one is that surprised.
  4. Perimenopause is giving you the opportunity to reevaluate your health and well being, with enough time to really make a difference for the next 40 years.
  5. You are more fierce and bold than in your 30’s.
  6. You have to/get to pay more attention to what you eat.
  7. You have to/get to take time for self-care, because if you don’t do it no one will.
  8. You have to pay attention to yourself.
  9. Your perspective for the future becomes more present than it used to be, So you can make better choices.
  10. You’re now seeing the holes in life where you can make different choices that will make a bigger difference.
  11. Your sense of style is far more evolved than it was 10 years ago. 
  12. You are a lot better at managing 22 things at once.
  13. You have well informed opinions by now.
  14. You know better now what you want to be when you grow up.
  15. You don’t always have to be right, and you’re OK with that now because it’s not worth it to waste your energy.
  16. It’s only a matter of time until you won’t buy tampons or pads or anything to do with periods. Time, money and brain space to spend on something else! 🎉
  17. You’re getting better at asking for help.  If you’re not, it’s time!
  18. You know better about what you need in relationships. Friends, husband, kids, parents.  All those relationships are growing and shifting.
  19. Your shoe collection is more refined and more practical!
  20. You have more opinions because you have more experience. Period.
  21. You see the places that still need healing, and you also know better how to get them healed. Trust your intuition. 
  22. You know deep in your heart, it’s never too late to change yourself. That means your perspective, your attitude, your beliefs, your choices.
